New Magic added to “Peter Pan’s Flight”

New Magic was recently added to one of Magic Kingdom’s opening day attractions. “Peter Pan’s Flight” now features an interactive queue. Being one of the park’s most popular attractions, long boring lines have always occurred, but Imagineers found a solution to this. After going through the main entrance, you enter a hallway filled with paintings of characters from the film. Next, you are outside the Darling’s home & see cut outs of Mr. Darling, Mrs. Darling & Nana before entering the home. Once inside, you are transported into the nursery of the Darling children. This is a large open room, where you pass the beds of Wendy, John & Michael and see Tinker Bell flying about. Peter Pan’s shadow also makes an appearance & you are able to interact with it. Following Tinker Bell & seeing where she ends up, entertains guests while waiting in line & makes the time go by. After leaving the nursery & right before boarding your pirate ship ride vehicle, you are sprinkled with Pixie Dust above you.

With this new addition added to “Peter Pan’s Flight”, you’ll want to make sure your tickets are purchased ahead of time. Selections for Walt Disney World tickets can be purchased from www.parkguesttickets.com

The Walt Disney World theme parks are beginning to add interactive queues to many of their attractions, such as The Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Dumbo the Flying Elephant & many others. This is a great idea, because not only does it make the time in line go by, but also makes it more magical & immersive. With “Peter Pan” being my favorite Disney film, I love this new addition added to the classic attraction. Fastpass is always recommended for this attraction, however I would say to bypass it, because then you would miss the New interactive queue.
